Movable date – 40 days after Pascha

We believe that Christ took on a new body and lived among us for 40 days. One of the more significant events of that period is when the Apostle Thomas said he could not believe Jesus’ Resurrection until he placed his fingers in Jesus’ wounds. And after 40 days, “He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. And He will come again with glory to judge the living and dead. His kingdom shall have no end.” (The Nicene Creed)
