The baptism of our Lord by John the Baptist in the River Jordan. This was the first time the Holy Trinity was revealed to mankind: in the presence of Jesus, God, the Son; in the voice of God, the Father, when he said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased”; and in the appearance of God, the Holy Spirit, in the form of the dove descending upon Jesus.
