Our Holy Trinity parish began with only a handful of families in 1910. Today, we have grown to over 2000 members. Our membership is diverse - one needn't be Greek to become Orthodox. Our families are young, professional, and active. And our Annual Greek Festival introduces thousands of visitors to the Faith each year.
Holy Trinity is a parish of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and Metropolis of Detroit.
From very humble beginnings in 1910, we have grown to over 2000 active members today. This is due in part to generations of Greek Orthodox establishing Indianapolis as their home. But mostly our growth is the result of several decades of active outreach to both non-Orthodox and non-Christian members of our greater Indianapolis community.
Our parish is very grateful to have maintained vibrant and progressive ministries such as our Church School, Greek School, teen group (GOYA), adult study groups, catechetical seminars, and – last but not least – our Philoptochos (friends of the poor) Society.
Burgeoning growth and a desire to always look to the future have prompted Holy Trinity to move to a beautiful new Byzantine temple at the corner of 106th and Shelborne streets for the purposes of expanding our ministries and nourishing generations to come in the ways of the Orthodox Faith.
