Philoptochos Society

Philoptochos is the official philanthropic organization of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and is the largest women’s Christian charitable organization in the United States.

Meaning “Friends of the Poor,” Philoptochos orchestrates many fundraising events and activities throughout the year, including our Christmas store benefiting Catholic Charities and our Palm Sunday luncheon benefiting Holy Cross Seminary. We also work side-by-side with community organizations such as local soup kitchens, Gleaners Food Bank, the Julian Center, Riley Hospital, Race for the Cure, and Dress for Success®.

Philoptochos of Holy Trinity has nearly 200 members. Please contact our Philoptochos President for more information about joining.
