The Bible is full of journey stories – Abraham and Sarah, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Our Lord, Peter and Paul. The message is clear. Faith in Christ is never about standing still and complacency, but about journeying forward. Holy Trinity is a parish that has been on a journey for over ninety years. Founded by immigrants who had journeyed themselves to this country, the parish’s first temple was on West 16th Street. By 1961, the Holy Trinity parish had outgrown those facilities and moved to our present location at 40th and Pennsylvania Streets. Having again outgrown our facilities, Holy Trinity purchased twenty acres in 2001 at 106th and Shelborne, just northwest of Indianapolis. We are now ready to commence the next exciting stage of our journey, the construction of our beautiful Byzantine temple. Throughout the capital campaign, our theme has been Journeying Forward Together Under HIS Gaze. Every word of this slogan is significant and meant to inspire. The present campaign is a journey of faith, a stepping into the future together. As a parish, we are practicing sacrificial giving at a record level in our history. This means that everyone’s contribution is vital and appreciated. And in the midst of our building campaign, we do not want to lose sight of our goal. Our goal is Christ’s goal for us – to glorify the most Holy Trinity in central Indiana through the witness of Orthodox Christianity. We welcome your interest in what Christ is doing among us. Please return to this website for updates on the construction of our new Byzantine temple. Please also consider joining us for Divine Liturgy at our present facilities (40th and Pennsylvania), 9:30 a.m. every Sunday morning. We welcome everyone to share the spirituality and beautiful traditions of our ancient and timeless faith.
