Programs for youth

Altar Servers — Boys 10 through teens serve behind the­ altar

Church School — For children who turn 3 by Sept. 1 through high school

ESPN Extra Special People of the Naos — Youth group for children in 5th–8th grade

GOYA Greek Orthodox Youth of America — Youth group for high school ages

Greek School — Greek language and culture, ages 4 through teens

Narthex Servers — Girls 10 through teens serve in the narthex and nave

Scouting — Program is in developmental phase

 

Programs for adults

Book Corner — Meets regularly for book discussion

Choir — Meets weekly for practice and fellowship

Fetival Committee — Organizes our annual Greek Festival

Leisure Timers — Social group for seniors

Library — Collects and maintains parish library

Men’s Group — Meets monthly for fellowship and service

Mission Committee — Primarily for adults, older teens welcome

Parish Council — Meets monthly regarding church operations

Philoptochos Society Friends of the Poor — Philanthropic arm of parish

Shepherd Ministry — Assists clergy in ministering to parish families

St. Basil Film Study — Discusses religious themes in popular films

St. John Adult Study Group — Meets weekly for religious study and fellowship

Stewardship Committee — Fosters time, talent, and financial commitments

Unless I see — Online discussion forum

Welcoming Committee — Introduces newcomers to all aspects of parish
