The true meaning of stewardship.

Time, talents, and treasures.

You know the three “t”s. But did you know that true stewardship is so much more than that? Sure, stewardship is a financial commitment; it’s volunteering to teach Sunday School; it’s working a booth at the Greek Festival. But it’s also a way of life.

For several years now, Holy Trinity has used the slogan, “All things are gifts. We are the stewards.” All things are gifts, and we are called to be stewards of all things.

Our Faith and our parish. Our souls, bodies, minds. Our families, homes, careers. Our neighbors and communities. Our environment. Our wildlife.

The list could go on and on.

Please meditate and ask for God’s guidance on how you can better devote everything you’ve been given to His glory. We’re not expecting you to quit your job as a stockbroker, but we’d like you to consider how even your non-church related gifts can actually reflect the Orthodox Faith by the choices you make regarding them.

In the meantime, we’d like to provide you with various opportunities to grow in the knowledge of your Faith. Please see the various resources under the section “Ongoing Christian Education” (under Stewardship).

Take care.
